How wallet payments and refunds work

Failed or cancelled charging sessions

If a charging session does not start, stops early because of a charger fault, or is cancelled before energy is delivered, any amount held or debited for that session is returned to your wallet automatically once the charge point reports its final meter values, usually within a few minutes.

Reservation cancellations

When you cancel an eligible reservation, the refundable portion is credited back to your wallet automatically. Any non-refundable booking fee is shown to you before you confirm the reservation.

Top-up reversals

If a wallet top-up payment is reversed by your bank or the payment provider, the matching amount is removed from your wallet and returned to the original payment method by the payment provider.

• Refunds are always returned to your EVOrbit wallet or the original payment method — never to a different account.
• EVOrbit does not provide cash refunds.
